Give me some evidence. Testimony of Tyler Hamilton and Floyd Landis, both cheats and frauds, doesn't count for squat. Though I would accept testimony from David Millar, a cheat, but not a fraud, who wrote his own book.

Champion of cancer sufferers; gifted athlete; consumer of r-EPO and anabolic agents; these are not mutually exclusive things. i.e., Michael Jackson was a gifted musician and performer AND (not OR) he was a paedophile.

There is a significant enough body of evidence to suggest that on all counts and, on the balance of probabilities, LA was all three of the things above.

The depositions of Hamilton and Landis before the Grand Jury actually do count. Insider testimony provided under oath, and under explict condition that at any future time it is discovered that an individual has misrepresented, falsified, lied to the Federal Court; their immunity will be revoked and; they will be subject to prosecution for all incrimination disclosed (including Purgery and Contempt) is a pretty compelling motivation to be truthful... no?

Every other day of the year, similar testimony often tips the scales to convince juries and secure convictions in cases of organised crime and corporate malfeasance.

Next time you're at dinner, don't forget to order the steak...

I’d put the Phil & Paul show in option 3.

The Colonel Klink/Russ Hinze “I know nothing” category.

If you don’t acknowledge something exists you don’t have to address it. Easy.

Those born before the 80’s may remember Russ being photographed outside an illegal casino in the valley. He stopped outside a doorway that had images of playing cards plastered all around it. Unfortunately he was in the Valley to deny the existence of illegal casinos. Despite the pic he continued to deny they existed. . . . .

If LA is proven to have used PED's, can anyone on this forum or on any other forum for any mattter tell the cycling world how it will change the cleanliness of the sport of cycling right now. How has Tyler Hamilton's and Floyd Landis' admissions changed the cleanliness. Everyone knows that money makes the world go around and you are delusional if you think other wise and when major naming sponsors pull the money from teams we tend to move towards a cleaner sport as is evident now. Yes there are still a few positives there always will be but the sport, not just made up of the peleton, is becoming cleaner.

Do people just want some sought of revenge for their hatred? I have seen peoples lives be consumed by hatred. What a waste of energy and life - you only get one. The vitriol which spews from the mouths (fingers) from the contributors on the Velonews forum is unbelievable. What happens if he did come out and say "yeah, I raced dirty" what will you people move onto next to hate???

Seems Lance has moved on.

With a much more infrequent testing regime in Triathlon, I wonder if the temptation will be there to "indulge". You would have to think that in a sport where he is not expected (by the top echelon at least) to win, there is no real need., and any infringement now would ruin everything that has previously gone by. Of course maybe it would be worth taking something if it helps from getting "chicked".

Trihards are probably more likely to wear them thinking they give them some extra 'balance' effect to make them swin faster.

No! People want and expect there too be an equal and level playing field

too compete in.09grr The cretins should loose everything they gained and never

be allowed back into the sport again.092cents Why should you or anyone else, get

the advantage over the rest of the clean competitors. (not you personally)09naughty

Because at least the athletes now that if they get away with it until they retire they will still get done down the track. Hopefully that will make them think twice as it will be something that they will carry with them for a while afterwards. You can only hope.

Nice avatar 'Sunshine', using the character "Getafix" in a thread related to drugs and 'magic potions'. Hehehe...
