HPRW Twilight Series 2011/2012

Track is in good condition. Went riding out there wednesday night. Just a couple of puddles encroaching on the track. Should be sweet for racing once they have gone

Petal

I will try and duck over there at lunchtime and report back here and on the Uni website if nobody responds beforehand.

Sorry Petal
Did not make it over there. Got tied up with work crap.
Has been raining steadily over this side of town all arvo though.

There is an extra race this Wednesday 8th Feb 2012 to make up for the two that were washed out. Points races for B & B1 grades.

Will the storms hit?

Sometimes you just have to wait and see Jake!

Possibly!

Looking pretty dark from where I am... and few storm cells coming through.

The rain had passed by 5pm and the light was okay. Small fields but good racing. Where were all the internet hard men - scared to get the new white sidis dirty?

There all soft, it has to be dry and sunny and perfect conditions so their nice shiny bikes and gleaming kits don't get dirty, or just the fact that everyone thinks no one turns up when it looks a bit rainey, i raced my first race for the season and it wasn't slippery or dangerous only a few puddles to go through on the bike path getting there...thanks for HPRW for making the effort.

For what it's worth, there were a few guys in white Sidi's charging all over Cootha yesterday evening. I recognised some of those guys as having being on the hill that morning too.

Well I know at least one person had to make a call earlier than 5 minutes before the race unfortunately.

I honestly am 10 minutes walk from the track and it was hosing down. I told my mate who works at Logan not to bother.

And this internet hard man is out for at least 6 weeks with a broken scaphoid.
