DaRoMi - my next track bike

Mine is the blue frame in the foreground. The red twin brother behind it was owned by Darren Lawson who set the Australian Hour Record in the early '90s.

This was my first custom built frame, Columbus SP with Suntour Superbe Pro.

The second shot (red against the garage door) is after an A-head conversion and respray in 2006. The only concession to technological progress is the A-head, Selle Italia SLR and Keo Carbons.
2x Training wheels are Suzue hubs with Mavic MA40 and MA2.
2x Race wheels are Superbe Pro with GL330 and Campag Record with GP4. All 3 cross 32 spoke and the race wheels are tied and soldered.

The frame name Daromi (more correctly DaRoMi) is the first 2 letters of the names of my little la squadra back then, David Whitbread, Robbie Anderson and Michael Leask. The name lives on with another David (the frame builder) adopting it as his brand. He does custom metal work of all kinds and still builds frames to order. The third photo is of a 2008 Carbon Daromi which is a prototype to my next frame.
